Set in the beautiful Cotswold countryside near Malmesbury, Whatley Manor Hotel & Spa is a beautifully restored 19th century Grade II listed Cotswold manor house hotel with 15 rooms and eight suites, all individual in style and design and featuring Bang & Olufsen sound and vision.
The hotel is set in 12 acres of traditional English country gardens, divided into 26 distinct areas, many of which are based on the original 1920s plans. There are two restaurants to choose from, both different in style; the dining room and Grey’s Brasserie. The luxurious Aquarias Spa, which is particularly large for a hotel of this size, offers beyond organic ila spa treatments and has recently launched a new range of indulgent Natura Bissé spa treatments and is the first hotel in the UK to have a permanent Natura Bissé Pure Air Bubble Suite where the treatments can be enjoyed.

Everyone has celebrations and special occasions to honour at some time – a birthday or anniversary, a baby shower, a christening or a retirement do. Choose how you would like to mark the special event – a lunch, afternoon tea, dinner or a party! From small dinners, to get togethers, to grand parties – we have a choice of rooms, large or small. From a private dining space overlooking the gardens, our brasserie – Grey’s, The Green Room or even our forty seat cinema.

Your own manor house for the day and night. You don’t have to mind the neighbours as we are surrounded by fields and cows. Organise a lavish dinner in the wood-paneled drawing room, host a champagne reception on the fountain terrace, enjoy a delicious barbeque in The Loggia Garden or, for 120 plus guests enjoy a marquee on one of the lawns. Whatever you decide Whatley Manor will be exclusively yours for the day!
For more than fifty guests exclusive use is required. Exclusive use starts from £14,000. Minimum food and beverage spend starts from £6000 per day
The ‘Exclusive Use’ package includes all 23 Rooms, tea and coffee making facilities in your room, a daily newspaper, use of Aquarias Spa*, exclusive use of the public areas and use of our restaurants – ‘The Dining Room’, ‘Grey’s Brasserie and ‘The Green Room’.
*A limited number of Aquarias spa members will have access to the spa which has its own private entrance.

Your celebration will be tailor-made to suit all your requirements and expectations. Our in-house Events Manager, Holly Firks-Matthews, will assist you throughout the planning. Our award-winning kitchen team devise menus that ensure your food is utterly delicious and perfectly executed.
The Loggia
A sense of space in a pretty and tranquil area of our gardens that provides a very English setting. Featuring a Cotswold stone barn overlooking a central lily pool sculpture by Simon Allison. Garden lighting creates even more atmosphere in this area and is the perfect setting at dawn and dusk. Maximum 100 guests (weather permitting).
