The stunning Royal Hospital Chelsea is the perfect choice for those looking to add a touch of glamour to their events.
The Grade I listed building boasts a number of imposing rooms, of varying size. The atmospheric Great Hall is the largest room at the Royal Hospital with the capacity to host 250 for a Grand Dinner or 400 for a standing reception; perfect for large corporate events. Its magnificent murals of Charles II date back to 1690, sure to impress all your guests, accentuate the grandeur of the Great Hall. The beautiful and traditional outside area of the Figure Court can also be utilised to extend the Great Hall for summer events.
The State Apartments, which include the Ante-Room and Council Chamber, also offer a unique yet exquisite setting for your guests. Designed by Sir Christopher Wren and embellished by Robert Adam these rooms are sure to impress and since the 1700s have hosted a variety of Monarchs and notable figures. Whilst dining guests can gaze onto striking paintings by artists such as Van Dyke and stunning carvings by William Emmet, John Grover and William Cleere. The elegant State Apartments offer a capacity to host events for 250 and 96 people respectively. If you are looking for some outside space, the beautiful Cannon Gardens are available to extend the State Apartments.
The private lawn space outside is a perfect overflow space during the summer where canapés and Champagne can be served. This space be used in conjunction with any of the stunning rooms on offer.
The elegant Figure Court lies at the very heart of Wren’s original design for the Royal Hospitality Chelsea and is surrounded by the historic State Apartments and Great Hall. Tucked away within the grounds are the Ranelagh Gardens which are a hidden gem ideal for any outdoor events.

Comprising both middle Ranelagh and Lower Ranelagh, both spaces are fantastic for a marquee event.

The Great Hall is the largest venue space at the Royal hospital. It is an atmospheric venue with capacity for up to 250 for a Dinner or 400 for a standing reception.
Whilst dining in splendour in the Great Hall, one can gaze upon a magnificent mural of Charles II, painted by Antonio Verrio, dating back to 1690.
The stunning outside space of Figure Court is also available as an extension of the Great Hall venue.
The Royal Hospital Chelsea is able to offer private and secure parking for guests for the duration of the event.
