LSO St Luke’s is a fully-converted and restored 18th century Grade I listed Hawksmoor church just to the north of the City on Old Street. The venue offers striking, stylish and flexible event space in a prime location.

Main space, the Jerwood Hall, fills the main body of the building. The hall has been converted and still features elements of the building’s original design. Original stonework and the magnificent east window create an unforgettable atmosphere, flooding the space with natural light.

In addition, the Clore Rooms at LSO St Luke’s provide ideal breakout spaces for more intimate meetings. The Café is located within the reconstructed crypt and is also suitable as a breakout area which can accommodate up to 150 standing guests (80 seated) for smaller receptions.

LSO St Luke’s boasts fully integrated sound and lighting systems – you can even light the spire or have your company name projected on the side of the building!

The building is home to the London Symphony Orchestra’s community and music education programme – LSO Discovery. LSO St Luke’s is the UK’s foremost orchestral musical education centre.

LSO St Luke’s combination of artful external restoration and innovative interior design within LSO St Luke’s has created a distinctive central space that accommodates a broad spectrum of events.
Multi-purpose facilities include flexible staging and seating for up to 414 people at ground level, including 98 in an attractive balcony. As an established rehearsal, chamber recital, world music and pop/rock concert venue, the Jerwood Hall is intimate, inspiring and extremely comfortable. The space is ideal for meetings and conferences for up to 250 people, presenting an attractive package to event managers and delegates alike.

The seating and staging within this stunning heritage setting can be cleared to open the floor area for prestigious entertainment and hospitality events with capacities of up to 220 for dining and 425 for standing receptions. The dimensions of floor are 21m x 19.5m and with the Crypt Café available for pre-dinner drinks receptions for up to 150 guests, the Centre offers the opportunity to create a genuinely exclusive event.

The original interior brickwork has been retained and the acoustic banners that flank the walls and ceiling are designed to provide maximum versatility. Glazed windows ensure that the space is soundproof and enhanced by natural daylight, while electronic blinds provide black-out for atmospheric events and those involving projection or multi-media presentations.

LSO St Luke’s has an excellent communications infrastructure and in-house sound system to suit most event requirements as well as flexible, dimmable, house- and production lighting. The Jerwood Hall is ideal for recording, filming and broadcasting and is used regularly by symphony orchestras, chamber ensembles, vocal groups, solo artists and bands. The building is fully accessible with step-free loading into each level.
