The Hat and Tun is the quintessential British pub spread across one floor. Charming and rustic, The Hat and Tun offers a perfect place to relax with a pint and some food in front of a fireplace, in a comfortable leather chair while admiring the handsome taxidermy adorning the walls. It’s a charming little escape for those wanting to share a drink and a laugh.

On tap is a selection of hand picked ales, wines and spirits which can be enjoyed from our authentic oak bar or in front of the aforementioned fireplace. In terms of food, the finest of rustic British cuisine is also on offer. Pie and mash, scotch eggs and doorstop sandwiches are just some of menu items that guarantee to warm anybody on the coldest London day. Online reviews of The Hat and Tun have described its “great food, lovely staff and a great atmosphere” with food that was of “top notch quality” and “quick and efficient service.” While many event spaces are impersonal, reviewers often find The Hat and Tun to “the exact opposite” with plenty of personality.

The entire Hat and Tun can be privately booked every weekend giving you the opportunity to celebrate your next event in your very own traditional London pub. With capacity for up to 100 standing or 50 seated this space is ideal for late night shindigs or sophisticated dinner parties, and our event managers are happy to assist you with every step of the way organizing bespoke menus,  tastings, DJ or other equipment hire. Also available are two smaller spaces, the sophisticated and intimate dining room which hosts a beautiful 12 seat dining table and the Snug, a small room at the back with a working fireplace, perfect for small after work social events.

The venue has 2 main event spaces:

• The Private Dining room is upstairs above the pub level. Its center piece is one long mahogany table, with plenty of antiquities adorning the beautiful oak paneled walls. The warmth and comfort of this dining room makes for a perfect place to have a business meeting or private dinner.
• The Snug is a room behind the main area of the bar which can be privately hired. Its decor is classic British pub, hunting trophies and all. Perfect for a group of friend or quick business meeting.
• Lastly, the entire pub space can be privately booked any day of the week. Quiz nights, tastings and DJs can all be organised by our event managers and a late license can be used to stay open to 1am.
