Eltham Palace Summer Party
Set within tranquil moated gardens, Eltham Palace boasts a unique mix of medieval and art deco styles, making it one of London’s most unusual and exceptional venues. The childhood home of Henry VIII, Eltham Palace was once an important royal palace, though of the original buildings, only the magnificent medieval Great Hall remains today. In the 1930s, it was chosen by society millionaires Stephen and Virginia Courtauld as the location for their imaginative and innovative art deco mansion. The most influential designers of the period created a series of elegant rooms, reminiscent of Hollywood-style glamour. They also cleverly incorporated the surviving Great Hall.
Its mix of chic 1930s rooms, the grandeur of its original medieval Great Hall for larger gatherings from daytime conferences to dinner dances and its acres of wonderful gardens for outdoor entertaining or team building, make Eltham Palace one of the capitals most flexible and fashionable venues. Close to the A2/m25 and with a large free car park, it is also one of the most convenient.
Not only does Eltham Palace make a stunning summer party venue, it is a great option for a team building event or company away days.

We’ve built up relationships with excellent accredited suppliers who know our historic venues well. Our accredited caterers can provide you with a range of Event Management services so that you can organise as much (or as little) as you desire.
THE GARDENS
Make use of 19 acres of land surrounding the beautiful Eltham Palace for your event. The South Lawn can be used for away days, BBQs and drinks receptions.

THE OAK ROOM
The Oak Room is the perfect space to hold a board meeting or theatre style meeting for a maximum of 10 people. The interior is created through traditional wooden panels which help create an intimate setting for a meeting.

ART DECO MANSION
Welcome your guests into the stunning Entrance Hall for registration, drinks and canapés. Make use of the Italian Drawing Room for your conference, breakout room or lunch area. Head out onto the adjoining terrace and south lawn for afternoon tea or evening drinks receptions.

THE GREAT HALL
In striking contrast to the Art Deco mansion, the Great Hall is a stunning work of medieval architecture where you can host a range of corporate events from conferences, lunches, away days, banquets and evening receptions. The perfect ambiance can be created by incorporating enhanced lighting and decoration with the help of our accredited suppliers.
