Boasting a number of rooms which can be used for varied events, Trinity House is situated in a central yet tranquil location overlooking the Tower of London. Trinity House dates back to 1796 and remains the headquarters of the Lighthouse Service. The venue is comprised of a number of elegant rooms, suitable for a variety of events. Trinity House lends itself to a variety of events such as lunches, dinners, cocktail parties and even board meetings. Guests of Trinity House will be treated to stunning design features, including Royal paintings, fine painted ceilings and shipwright’s models.

Trinity House has a 200-year history during which it has welcomed royalty, Prime Ministers and Lords of Admiralty. The history of the house began in 1514 when Henry VIII granted the Charitable Guild of Mariners a Royal Charter to regulate water traffic on the river Thames. Today the Master of the Company is HRH The Princess Royal, which reflects the on-going patronage of the Crown.

The venue’s event spaces include:

• Library -Crowned with a minstrel’s gallery able to accommodate a full chamber orchestra, the library is Trinity House’s most spacious room and exudes beauty and elegance. It features gorgeous 16th and 17th century-stained glass windows, a superb collection of antique silverware, and impressive views of the Tower and the River Thames. With its graceful proportions this room is an excellent choice for exquisite large-scale occasions.
• Court Room-This beautiful blue and gold ceilinged vision overlooks Trinity Square with floor to ceiling windows which bathe the room in natural light. The richly woven carpet, stunning vivid ceiling, and views of Trinity Square give this room a rare grace and make it a superb choice for receptions and the most inspiring of meetings.
• Pepys Room- The Pepys Room is a grand space, befitting of its impressive namesake – famous diarist, naval administrator and former Master of the House, Samuel Pepys – whose portrait proudly graces the wall. For events taking place in multiple areas of the House, this is an ideal space for a dance floor and to accommodate musicians or other entertainment, but is also well suited to receptions, lunches or dinners.
• Luncheon Room- The Luncheon Room is adorned with imposing full-length portraits of former Masters of Trinity House, an elegant Georgian fireplace and the only surviving mirror from the original house. True to its name, this room works wonderfully for the hosting of small lunches and dinners.
• Reading Room- The smallest room is equally suited to individual use for small board meetings and intimate dinners and lunches and to dual hire as a reception room for a larger event. A collection of medals and a portrait of Winston Churchill and Franklin D. Roosevelt signing the Atlantic agreement make for a truly inspiring event space!
