Two Temple Place Venue Hire.

Overlooking the River Thames, Two Temple Place is an imposing Portland Stone building in the heart of central London. The building is crammed with Victorian detail and character and bound to fascinate guests. An elegant oak-panelled entrance creates the perfect first impression and is opulently decorated with mahogany carvings.

Two Temple Place is home to the Bulldog Trust, a charity founded in 1983. They host annual exhibitions, showcasing publicly owned museum and art gallery collections from outside of London. The spectacular neo-Gothic mansion is also one of London’s most prestigious settings for corporate and private entertaining. They provide an unrivalled venue, combining the grandeur of a state occasion with the intimacy of a private house party.

Two Temple Place is available for exclusive hire for a range of events. They encourage guests to explore the house and discover its many hidden treasures in what could be your home for the day. Whether you want to create an intimate dinner for 20 in the library, a dinner for 120 guests in The Great Hall, or a standing reception using the whole house for 300, their dedicated events team will work with you every step of the way to ensure the house delivers.

From corporate drinks receptions to birthday parties, film premieres and everything in between, Two Temple Place is a hidden gem boasting ornate and versatile spaces to wow your guests.

Guests are free to explore the whole house, from William Waldorf Astor’s private Library with its wood panelled walls, secret champagne safe and intricate carvings which sit alongside a secret door leading into the Great Hall. A favourite talking point for guests is the stunning Upper Gallery surrounding the grand oak and mahogany staircase and crowned by a spectacular stained glass ceiling emblazoned with the date of completion of Two Temple Place in 1895.

Astor’s onetime private office, The Great Hall, with its majestic hammer beam ceiling and stunning stained-glass windows now provides the exceptional backdrop for elegant drinks receptions and evening soirees complete with views of the London riverside skyline.

Dancing takes place downstairs in the Lower Gallery, and with a late licence until 4am available on request, guests really can dance the night away. Please note that a dance floor must be hired to protect the original flooring of the house.

Our dedicated Events team will work closely with our experienced approved suppliers to ensure a seamless and memorable event for you and your guests.
