Comprising 8 principal spaces, but with over 60 individual rooms across 48,000 sq. ft. from the Victorian grandeur of the Assembly Hall to the warren of untouched basement spaces, The Ditch, Shoreditch Town Hall is home to a busy year round programme of events and live performance, from contemporary theatre and dance, to conferences and corporate dinners, film shoots to exhibitions.
Over recent years as well as continuing to grow their successful events and hire programme that has seen the Town Hall work with clients as diverse as Nesta, Alexander McQueen and Vanity Fair to the Jamie Oliver Foundation, the RSC and National Theatre, in 2010 they also launched an inaugural artistic programme, working with companies and partners including LIFT, the Almeida and Paines Plough’s Roundabout Season. Alongside this, and with the ambition of making the building a real creative hub, they have established an associate and affiliate artist programme to encourage new work to be made and have a home in their spaces as well as created offices for a range of tenants, including TENT London, Time Based Arts and Theatre Centre.
Shoreditch Town Hall is probably the largest existing space of its kind to come into play as a creative venue in London in a generation, and their work over the past 18 months has been focused entirely on realizing its untapped potential as a venue.
It sits at the heart of one of the most artistically vibrant areas of the city, and as a non-traditional, flexible and large capacity space, it is uniquely placed to be a real crucible for the latest creativity and cross over points between burgeoning tech and digital cluster, an established artistic community, and a highly diverse population.Packages
