Printworks Summer Party
A world-famous venue for culture, nightlife and hybrid spaces, Printworks London is our flagship venue. Situated in the former industrial centre of Surrey Quays, the site is a continuously evolving venue complex that has brought a new lease of life to the local area as well as to London’s cultural scene. Printworks London (formerly Harmsworth Quays) was established in 1989 as western Europe’s largest print facility, and for 24 years The Evening Standard, The Daily Mail and Metro newspapers rolled off its presses. 12,800 square metres of versatile event space provide an authentic industrial setting for live performances and concerts, as well as for exhibitions, experiential events, product launches, conferences and filming.
Described by Time Out as one of the city’s most vibrant, post-industrial venues, Printworks is the ultimate blank canvas for conferences, exhibitions, experiential events, concerts, product launches and filming. Printworks London has worked with iconic brands such as Nike, Adidas, H&M x Moschino, QuickBooks, Mercedes, McDonalds and Marvel to name but a few.
The Container Yard is Printworks’ dedicated outdoor events space, with built-in bars and direct access to the interior spaces of the venue. A wall of black shipping containers encloses the 1,000 square metre space, to create a secure urban backdrop to host events such as festivals, summer parties and street food markets.

Host your summer party in our outdoor industrial space, Container Yard. The space is surrounded by shipping containers and lit by festoon lighting to set that summer mood.
Combine that with hand selected food and drink by our catering supplier KERB, perfect for parties from 250-1,000.

SUMMER PARTY
The Press Halls is an iconic space guaranteed to stage your party to perfection for numbers for up to 2,500. This ultimate large-scale package combines the indoor space of the Press Halls with a mini outdoor street food festival in Container Yard for the best of both worlds. Alternatively The Inkwells makes for an impressive after party for numbers of 1,000.
Container Yard is the perfect spot to chill out and fill up on seriously delicious street eats under draping festoon lights. Indoors, enjoy a drinks reception and dance the night away…

HIRE TIMES
7am – 7am, 24 hour hire to give you ample time to setup and derig. 1am license Sunday to Thursday and 2am on Friday and Saturday.

TRANSPORT
Situated 5 mins walk from Canada Water station it offers transport links from the City, central London and Canary Wharf on the Jubilee Line and Overground.
