Named after the first ship to charter the Manchester Ship Canal on New Year’s Day 1894, The Pionee. The Pioneer Suite is in the heart of Manchester’s cultural quarter on Canal Street. It’s a truly unique space ideal for hiring as a conference venue, meeting room or research venue and for usability studies, hall tests, training days, media events, PR launches, TV & Film castings, location shooting, workshops and more.

The available space is light and airy, having a high ceiling in an open plan L- shaped space that is overlooked by a mezzanine floor with a seating area. It also comes with a fully equipped kitchen. A hostess is available to serve refreshments and a full catering service is also available to order. Televisions, cameras, computers and other audio visual equipment is also available for hire. The room can be set up in many different formats including; theatre style, conference style, classroom style or simply left open to easily achieve the venue’s standing capacity of 100.
