Oyster Shed Venue Hire EC4R
Poised on the banks of the mighty Thames, The Oyster Shed is at the bustling heart of the great city of London. Its giant wrap-around windows give impressive views of The Shard, Southwark Cathedral and Tower Bridge as well as letting in streams of light to illuminate the elegant and welcoming spaces within. And what a range of spaces! Whether you want a meeting with your team for breakfast, gathering your friends for drinks at the end of the day or taking over the whole pub for a lavish wedding, we’ve got the perfect place to do it.
The Oyster Shed is corker, looking out across the Thames to The Shard, the Tower of London and at the boats that should really stop for a pint at the bar, of our first waterside pub. Underneath Nomura, next to the Bank of Canada, how long will this be a well kept secret amongst the City folk and tourists alike who relish fresh food, fine wines, quality cask and a delectable selection of craft beers. We are currently not open on weekends unless you would like to book the space for private hire.

Tucked away on our upper deck, just past the Rockefeller Lounge, The Captain’s Table is a completely private space to bring your office together for all types of meetings. Our large, light and airy room is fully stocked with all the equipment you’ll need to let your day run without a hitch. With a selection of packages available, you and your guests will stay fed and watered throughout. Just a stone’s throw from the bar, you will also be able to unwind with that much needed after work tipple.
We are located just a short stroll from Monument Station and London Bridge stations so your guests will be able to arrive in good time too.
Private hire
Our fantastic venue with capacity for 400 standing or 200 seated, brings a hearty slice of life to Central London. With large panoramic windows, its own bar and quirky decor, the venue is an exceedingly comfortable space in which to host your own gastronomic event with friends or family. With incredible transport links, just a stone’s throw from Monument, Bank and London Bridge stations, The Oyster Shed is a perfect destination for guests coming from all parts of London.
