At Osborne, royal grandeur, regal architecture, lavish interiors, beautiful terrace gardens and sea views provide the breath taking backdrop for your corporate event.
EVENT SPACES
The magnificent Durbar Room filled with its treasures, the intimate Duchess of Kent Suite and the beautifully refurbished Victoria Hall and Orangery are all within the House. For events on a grand scale we have the Durbar Lawn which is adjacent to the House.

There are three flexible spaces within Osborne, along with the magnificent Durbar Lawn with its spectacular views across the garden terraces and Solent
THE DURBAR ROOM
With its wonderfully intricate Indian-inspired carved white plaster ceilings and walls this room is a prestigious setting for dining amid a glittering collection of treasures given to Queen Victoria. The spectacular banqueting table may make a stunning centrepiece for your event and will seat up to 24 guests.
Dining: 80 people
THE DUCHESS OF KENT SUITE
Used by the future King George V and Queen Mary for their honeymoon, these lovely inter-linked rooms look out on to the terraces and may also be used in conjunction with the Victoria Hall.

THE VICTORIA HALL AND ORANGERY
The Victoria Hall was once Queen Victoria’s private chapel with its beautiful arched windows overlooking the Garden Terraces. With double doors leading outside you can serve drinks to your guests in the pretty flower-filled gardens on balmy summer evenings before sitting down for dinner. The adjacent Orangery features a beautiful marble bar and makes a perfect retreat after dinner.

THE WALLED GARDEN
One of the only remaining parts of the 18th-century gardens, these gardens were used by Prince Albert as a nursery for his trees and shrubs alongside flowers for the house. You and your guests can sip cocktails amid the floral fragrances of trained Victorian fruit trees, roses and parma violets.

THE BEACH
On a summer’s evening you can enjoy champagne and canapés on the beach. To quote Queen Victoria, “it is impossible to imagine a prettier spot”.

THE LOWER TERRACE
The Lower Terraces provide picture-perfect scenery for a drinks reception. During the summer months, you and your guests will be surrounded by flowers replicating the designs that Queen Victoria and Prince Albert would have walked amongst during their many happy days at Osborne.

THE DURBAR LAWN
For entertaining on a grand scale follow Queen Victoria’s lead – she loved to host parties in tents on this lawn beside the house. Summer balls, lavish dinners and concerts are staged here regularly.

CHRISTMAS PARTIES AT OSBORNE
Osborne was the beloved family home of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert. For over fifty years, it played host to family gatherings, ambassadorial receptions and royal wedding parties. When Victoria first saw Osborne, she wrote that ‘it is impossible to imagine a prettier spot’. Its lavish rooms are still full of original art and furniture and the gardens are planted to Albert’s own designs.
