Welcome to One Moorgate Place – a beautiful Grade II listed building in the heart of the City of London. Providing outstanding conference and hospitality services, One Moorgate Place combines elegant features with contemporary style, catering for up to 600 guests.

Our range of historic and modern rooms, coupled with, state-of-the-art audio visual facilities, create the perfect setting, for conferences, meetings, parties,, weddings, private dining, and awards ceremonies. Located just five minutes walk from Liverpool Street, Moorgate or Bank Underground stations, and only eight miles from London City Airport, we are conveniently situated for your next event.

The domed Main Reception Room is the main focal point of the building. Complete with glass chandelier, bold stone columns, beautiful stained glass windows and murals by George Murray, this stunning room was originally the Council Chamber when the venue was built in 1890. It still maintains that charm today and is perfect for private dinners, receptions and weddings. The Main Reception Room is also used for pre-dinner drinks for events in the Great Hall, to which it is adjoined, and is also licensed for wedding ceremonies.

The Great Hall is our largest room and provides spacious, air-conditioned accommodation, perfect for conferences, team building days, presentations or dinner dances.
This versatile space is also where we hold most of our Christmas parties and wedding receptions. This later extension to the original building offers a sophisticated audio-visual system, including a new 11 metre wide split projection screen.

Your dedicated event co-ordinator will be on-site throughout your function. All you have to do is relax, knowing that we’ll be behind the scenes to make your event run like clockwork.

Our Small Reception Room embodies the original essence of the building through its 19th Century furnishings and artwork. The baroque opulence and charm make this room the perfect choice for drink receptions, fine dining, high tea or even business boardroom-style meetings. It accommodates 18 people for dinner and 35 people for a standing reception.
