An inspiring and unique venue in stunning surroundings… Newbury racecourse held its first race meeting on 26/27 September 1905 at its current location, in the Greenham area on the south-east side of Newbury. The first recorded racing at Newbury took place in 1805 with “Newbury Races”, an annual two-day race meeting at Enborne Heath. With a recent investment of £50m, Newbury Racecourse is recognised as one of the UK’s leading horseracing venues offering stylish, flexible and unique conference and events facilities catering for all market segments.

Set against a unique backdrop with natural daylight throughout, Newbury Racecourse can accommodate meetings, exhibitions and other events within its flexible spaces, from a meeting for 20 to a large conference for up to 1000 delegates. Whether it be for a Conference, Exhibition, Product Launch, Meeting, Dinner or outdoor activity, we have a range of packages to suit all budgets and our dedicated experienced team, including our award-winning catering team and our production partners ITM are here to make your event a success.

Our extensive external space is the ideal setting for team building, sporting events or film location. Located just off the M4 with access from areas such as; Reading, Basingstoke, Swindon, Oxford and Bracknell with parking for 3500. In addition to this, Newbury Racecourse Station is 5mins walk from the racecourse which has trains to and from London Paddington Station.

We have the advantage of having our own onsite hotel ‘The Lodge’ which has 36 beautifully appointed rooms. The bar area is bright and airy with an outside terraced area which is has a perfect setting for any summer activity. Organisers regularly combine our indoor facilities and outdoor spaces for bespoke events such as summer family fun days, team building activities, product launches, classic car shows, national gaming events and concerts.
For indoor events, each of the racecourse’s three grandstands has unique characteristics that can be matched to each individual event requirement. Outside, our 300 acres of grounds make a stunning backdrop for any outdoor event.

• The building stretches over 3 floors with stunning views of the racecourse and offers the flexibility of utilising each space in a unique way or exclusively for the entire building. This is the perfect space for a large conference and exhibition all under one roof.

Berkshire Stand –
A standalone structure again with beautiful views of the racecourse and paddock ring.
Spread over four floors, you can make each space your own thus utilising the 4th floor which has 35 private boxes which would be ideal for breakout sessions or private dinners.

Owners Club –
Our recently opened and purpose-built venue, the owners club is a beautiful space which can accommodate up to 240 guests in a light and contemporary space, and the main room with bifold doors can be opened out onto a landscape lawn and a stunning view of the Paddock Ring.
Hennessy Suite –
Located in the Hampshire Stand, again with stunning panoramic views of the racecourse. This space is ideal to impress for a private or corporate event.
