Manchester Central Convention Complex M2
This spectacular Grade II listed building, the old Manchester Central Railway Station, is now converted into a superb award-winning collection of spaces designed especially for hosting events on a professional scale from exhibitions to large scale banqueting events.
Still retaining some of its original features the Manchester Central Conference Complex has everything you need to host high end conferences directly in the heart of this thriving City.
It holds 11 different unique spaces available for large exhibitions and shows, corporate events, workshops and board meetings, large scale banqueting and an auditorium to seat 804 people. Prices range from £4000 – £10,000 per day depending on room size, timing and date. Catering can be arranged with Dinners from £40 per person, Lunches from £25 per person.

Transort
By Air – Manchester Airport is a 25 minute taxi ride away or just 20 minutes on the express rail service.
By Rail – from Manchester Piccadilly station, a 5 minute taxi ride.
By Car – on-site NCP car parking is available and bookable online.
This magnificent uninterrupted and column-free space can be used for conventional exhibition layouts or for more unusual installations that can benefit from the height and unique character of the building.
The Gallery is a multi-purpose space connecting Central Hall and the Charter Suite. Flooded with natural light through its 40mtr long sky light, this space creates an ambience of relaxation and is ideal for networking, exhibitions or as an event space in its own right.
This purpose built 800-seat auditorium has state-of-the-art facilities capable of meeting the most sophisticated audio-visual requirements.
This multi-purpose space has the flexibility to allow maximum creativity. Exchange Hall can be used for everything from trade exhibitions and event hospitality to conference seating and large-scale banqueting.
Our Exchange Suite consist of a number of small and large rooms, ideal as break-out spaces or stand-alone event spaces.
Exchange 8, 9, 10, 11 and the lobby area in-between have recently undergone a subtle refurbishment – harnessing the heritage and charm of our iconic venue, enhanced with new carpet, lighting, blinds and soft furnishings!
All of our Exchange rooms are air conditioned and have the option of additional AV equipment.

We pride ourselves on our catering services and culinary creativity is always on the menu! Our team of chefs is renowned for inspired menus and beautifully presented food. You’ll be invited to a pre-event tasting and we’ll work with you to refine every detail – you can even devise a menu that’s unique to your event. On the day, Manchester Central’s hospitality team deliver the highest standards efficiently, attentively and unobtrusively. Whether a business lunch for 40, a black tie dinner for 850 or a buffet for 4000 no other Manchester venue combines five-star skills with such high-volume capacity.
Event catering
Manchester Central is a highly versatile event space. Whatever your budget, we can cater for a range of events with a variety of menu packages. If you want something unique, our executive chef and his team can create a signature dish or a whole new menu exclusively for your event.
Manchester Central’s hospitality team work with each event organiser to develop the best catering package for visitors. Our packages include banqueting and canapés and our buffet menus range from finger buffets to full dining options. We can also offer exclusive support crew catering and retail options incorporating ‘grab and go’ items such as hot drinks, sandwiches, paninis and refreshments.

Stand catering
Whether a speciality coffee machine and barista or a canapé and champagne reception, exhibitors can arrange stand catering direct with Manchester Central. We can deliver bottled water, hot drinks, essential refreshments and simple snacks. Or if exhibitors want to organise a drinks reception on their stand, we can help them to create a real sense of occasion.
