All menus at Inner Temple are changed seasonally, and combine fresh, local ingredients with Searcys culinary heritage, stretching back to 1847. Their Head Chef, Martin Cheesman, is one of London’s expert caterers in creating bespoke menus for wedding receptions based on your specific requirements.

They also host all manner of events, from large banquets to corporate conferences, summer and Christmas parties to fine dining events. Our interconnecting event spaces make the Inner Temple an ideal venue for receptions and cocktail parties for up to 600 guests. The spaces are versatile to suit all possible requests, yet still maintain the unique historic atmosphere of the Inner Temple.
CHRISTMAS PARTIES
Embrace the Christmas season in one of the very few Georgian-style venues in the City of London. With silvered chandeliers, a minstrels’ gallery, large stained-glass windows, and a traditional 16 ft Christmas Tree, it’s the perfect festive space for a large reception or dinner party
SUMMER PARTIES
Exclusive garden party and receptions venue in the City of London
Inner Temple benefits from impressive prize-winning gardens, offering the second largest privately- owned green space for hire in the City of London. The Gardens provide the perfect backdrop for a summer garden party, barbeque, cocktail reception or other private open-air events. Our Marquee is available for parties for up to 600 persons during a 22 day time period in June and July.

With stunning Georgian architecture, ornate stained glass windows and fantastic food, the Inner Temple is an exclusive event space right in the heart of central London.
The Inner Temple boasts a rare selection of historic event spaces that can host almost any type of occasion, from dinners for 20, to receptions for 600. Our historic function rooms are the perfect setting for banquets and wedding receptions, and our three-acre award winning garden can also be hired for Summer parties and weddings.
Located on the first floor with access to the main corridor that connects all rooms, the Inner Temple Hall is one of the very few Georgian-style event halls in the City of London.
The oak-panelled walls are adorned with heraldic shields and historic paintings. Together with silvered chandeliers and a minstrels’ gallery, the Hall is sure to delight any guest.
The Inner Temple Hall is perfect for a variety of functions. For formal dinners, the Hall will comfortably seat 250 people or up to 400 for a large reception. It is the perfect space for dinners, presentations or an event that requires a distinguished and original setting in the heart of London.
A verdant setting for a summer party, The Inner Temple garden has received many Floral Awards from The Worshipful Company of Gardeners between 1991-2004. It has been awarded the Riverside Trophy for four consecutive years. Between 1888 and 1913, the garden was also host to The Royal Horticultural Society’s Great Spring Show before it moved home to become the Chelsea Flower Show.
The three-acre garden is laid to lawn and boasts a variety of distinctive plants and trees including a border planted with alternating red and white roses which represent the War of the Roses. Guests enter the garden through the 18th century wrought iron gates where they will enjoy exclusive use of this peaceful and tranquil garden in the heart of the City of London.
