A London Legend Reborn True to its original glamorous spirit, Café Royal has reopened as a luxury 5 star hotel in the heart of central London. With elegant Mayfair to the west and creative Soho to the east, Hotel Café Royal is perfectly positioned within walking distance of London’s finest shopping streets, tourist attractions and theatre land.

Paying homage to the history of the building, grand historic areas have been sensitively restored and a selection of restaurants, bars and events spaces are a tribute to the rich heritage of excellent hospitality and dining. In its reincarnation this iconic London landmark now features 160 contemporary guestrooms, including 54 suites and seven signature suites. Continuing its celebrated legacy, Hotel Café Royal offers a selection of restaurants and bars for guests to enjoy. At the heart of the hotel, the Ten Room offers British informal dining all-day, while the Green Bar is the perfect place to relax and unwind with a cocktail.

Restored to revive the ornate Louis XVI décor and detailing, the jewel of the hotel, the Oscar Wilde Bar (formerly the iconic Grill Room, originally established in 1865), is now the place to enjoy Champagne, cocktails and a light menu of British dishes, complemented by live entertainment on select evenings.

The Café, on Regent Street, revives the European tradition of café culture. To complete the full experience, the Akasha Holistic Wellbeing Centre is an urban retreat spanning over 1,200sqm/13,000sqft. Akasha is leading a new concept of wellbeing, featuring a state-of-the-art-gym, large lap pool, Watsu pool, sauna and Hammam/steam room and offering a range of signature treatments which marry innovative Western practices with ancient Eastern traditions.

The Pompadour Ballroom is the largest event space at Hotel Café Royal, beautifully restored to feature original and ornate detailing and perfect for celebrative receptions, launches, fashion shows and weddings.

The stunning Grade II listed Oscar Wilde Lounge dates back to 1865 and is decorated with mirrored walls, ornate gold detailing and painted ceilings. The home of Hotel Café Royal’s award-winning afternoon tea service, this room can also be booked for private parties and events.

The Domino room at Hotel Café Royal is a historic private dining and events space in the centre of London’s West End, nestled between elegant Mayfair and creative Soho. Echoing the heritage of this iconic landmark, this elegant space has been both sensitively restored to feature original details and modernised to appeal to twenty-first century sensibilities.
