Horwood House is a charming hotel nestled in the heart of beautiful Buckinghamshire just eleven miles from Milton Keynes. Set in 38 acres of landscaped gardens, Horwood House elegantly combines vintage appeal with modern facilities in a peaceful countryside setting.

Whether you need a flexible conference venue for 300 delegates, an outdoor location for an inspirational team building event, a private meeting room for your important board meeting, a beautiful backdrop for your wedding or a place to simply relax and unwind, Horwood House delivers.

The large gardens are beautifully decorated with wishing wells and pagodas along with the beautiful lily pond and fountain. Our walled garden can hold marquees up to 800 guests. Whilst if you prefer an inside function room, our largest suite can hold up to 250 guests.

We can offer bespoke packages and menus for your event but our wonderful hog roasts and BBQ’s always seem the popular option!

Our menus reflect seasonality using local produce where possible with particular attention paid by our Chefs to the quality of ingredients. The menus feature fresh, crisp, intense and punchy flavours and the food is served in an energetic environment by unobtrusive and knowledgeable dining room staff.

Our extensive facilities offer 35 different event spaces for parties, celebrations, business meetings, corporate training and conferences. The hotel grounds, including the Cook lawn, provide a wonderful canvas for al fresco celebrations or outdoor team-building activities.

Facilities range from The Bering Room for up to 14 guests with views of the grounds from its two large bay windows to the Cook Suite, a light, modern space for 280 guests with a private lounge and bar. Horwood House also offers a purpose-built learning and development environment; the Academy. All spaces are fully equipped with intuitive smart technology and superfast WiFi.

Guests will enjoy specially created menus, using fresh locally sourced ingredients, ranging from delicate canapes to fine dining. We are also able to offer BBQ and picnic options.
