Once a metal box factory, the industrial style building now plays home to Hixter Bankside – the little sister to Tramshed in Shoreditch. Paying homage to the original space, the design accentuates the natural features of floor to ceiling windows, and metal and brick-work, whilst adorning the walls with neons and hanging art by both renowned and up-and-coming British artists – such as Mat Collishaw, Tracey Emin, Tim Noble and Gary Webb. Home to an array of different private dining and party options the staples of the menu include roast chicken from Swainson House Farm in Lancashire, and Mighty-Marbled beef, aged in a Himalayan salt chamber in Glenarm Estate, Northern Ireland. Event feasting menus feature big platters of each course for guests to dig into with emphasis on the season’s best ingredients, theatrical meat based main courses and festive trimmings.

The CNB dining room is a bright space bathed in natural daylight enveloped by Luke Embden’s pop-art mural. The opulent Bull Room with large windows and velvet curtains lends itself to breakfast meetings, private dining and drinks receptions.

Downstairs, Mark’s Bar is a hidden gem featuring an impressive sunken bar with cinema-style bar seating and Mark’s signature billiards table. Like its sister bar in Soho, the understated luxury of Mark’s Bar Bankside offers the perfect setting for drinks parties or feasting. Our cocktail masterclasses are now available to book for parties of 6 or more.
