Harrow School Venue Hire HA1
Harrow School commonly referred to as “Harrow”, is an English independent school for boys set in 260 acres and situated in the town of Harrow in North-West London. There is some evidence that there has been a school on the site since 1243, but the Harrow School of today has formally been educating the elite of society since 1572. Due to its great history of education and culture, the school has become an interesting space to hire for hosting some remarkable events.
The Old Speech Room Gallery & Museum
The Old Speech Room Gallery & Museum, located in the Old Speech Room, which was built as a room to encourage public speaking and was completed between 1819 – 1821. The gallery was opened in 1976 to house the School’s collections, which include a host of artefacts, such as Greek and Egyptian antiquities, English watercolours, Modern British paintings, books and natural history artefacts. The beautifully designed room with the magnificent art work makes an interesting setting for private and corporate events. For example, The school recently hosted a wedding for 120 guests. The Speech Room was first designed as a formal dining space, and later on transformed into a Bollywood Dance Floor.
Harrow School Events Facilities
Harrow School has 9 venues available to hire for Events with capacities varying from just 8 people to 550. The events team at Harrow can create and offer a bespoke event to match your style and budget. Using their carefully selected accredited suppliers, clients are able to access venues that were not open to the public before. At Harrow School you can host a luxury dinner for 10 in the original classroom, or a fashion show for 500 in the Speech Room, the possibilities are endless.

MEETING ROOMS
Harrow School offers guests a number of venue solutions for Boardroom and Team Meetings. Below provides information on three meeting rooms available for private hire. Each venue offers AV and a standard technical set up e.g. Laptop, projector and screen. Please speak to a member of the events team for more details.
Traditional Harrovian Adventure

The Traditional Harrovian Adventure Package aims to provide a unique taster of sporting traditions within Harrow School. All delegates will be immersed within the School and use all unique facilities the School has to offer. Each activity will be conducted by a specialist in their field and provide a once in a life time opportunity for guests visiting Harrow. Activity breakdown Clay Pigeon Shooting ‘Off Limits’ are a wonderful Team Building Specialist able to offer a unique variety of activities for groups to enjoy at Harrow School. All teams activities are designed to challenge, educate, motivate and surprise. They hone specific skills, boost confidence and highlight issues within teams and the workplace as a whole. Off Limites plan, set up and run the entire event leaving you to enjoy the ride.
Activities Offered: Clay Pigion Shooting, Archery, Sheep Dog Handling, Quad Bikes, Falcony, 4×4 Blind Driving, Micro Tanks, Segways and much much more.

Fives The origin of the word “fives” is uncertain but it probably refers to the number of digits on each hand. The game’s similarity to squash means that it is excellent for improving hand/eye coordination. Harrow has one of the most successful teams in the country with a very good record in the Schools’ Championships. This fast paced game will be instructed by a Fives expert at our fives courts at Harrow School.
