HAC Armoury House Venue Hire
Book your next event at the HAC Venue London. The finest corporate, private & sporting events venue in the City of London- Armoury House, which is the home of the HAC, was built to replace a smaller seventeenth- century armoury. The HAC is quite unlike any other City venue; a magnificent Georgian house set in a five acre garden hidden away in a quiet location just a couple of minutes walk from Moorgate.
Inside this unique, historic London venue offers a wide variety of event spaces for everything from conferences, meetings and awards dinners to summer and Christmas parties and of course wedding ceremonies and receptions. From small meeting rooms for 10 people through to the Prince Consort Rooms which seats up to 400 guests, the HAC is able to offer the perfect setting for every type of event.
HAC Venue Hire
Outside, the stunning five acre Artillery Garden provides the ideal backdrop for all these events as well as being available to hire for sports such as cricket, rugby, softball and football as well as company fun days, team building and barbecues. The HAC Artillery Garden also boasts an impressive setting for summer and Christmas parties for up to 2,000 guests in the purpose built marquee!

PackagesOverview
The Prince Consort Rooms at the HAC has been refurbished to perfectly suit the needs of conference organisers. With its own entrance through a pretty courtyard, the large space can host up to 480 in a theatre-style, 350 for a dinner and dance and 800 for a drinks reception. Just off the main entrance is a handy room which can be used as an organiser’s office or green room and there is a lovely astro-turfed sun terrace also at your disposal.

As you would expect from a purpose-built conference suite, the Prince Consort Rooms is kitted out with state-of-the-art audio visual equipment which includes an in-built atmospheric lighting system with remote controlled pinspot lighting and LED colour change uplighters – perfect for creating any environment you want, from a presentation or talk to a themed evening of fine dining and entertainment. Our in-house team of technicians know the venue and its facilities inside out so you can trust them to take care of all of your AV needs, giving you the time to concentrate on your delegates.
Location
The Prince Consort Rooms is situated within the HAC and adjoins the estate’s Georgian manor, Armoury House. Our venues are a few minutes’ walk from Moorgate and Old Street tube stations – a fabulous location for City businesses and for delegates arriving from out of town. Despite its central London location, the HAC is unique in that it boasts five acres of beautiful lawns, a feature which gives all guests to our venue a sense of being somewhere with space to think.
Additional Spaces
The adjoining Armoury House has six beautiful spaces which work well as breakout rooms for your conference. If your event requires a large outdoor area for a summer party or team building games, the five-acre Artillery Garden is also available to hire.
Overview
Each of the six rooms within Armoury House and our largest space, the Prince Consort Rooms, can be hired for a sit-down dinner. The capacities of the rooms range from 12-400 with lots of options in between. Each space is suffused with the story of our historic London manor house and offers organisers a very special place in which to entertain their guests.
Food
Our catering partner, Searcys, has a team of chefs based onsite at the HAC. As well as sourcing their produce as locally as possible, the kitchen team also ensure their suppliers adhere to the same high standards of sustainability as they do. Keeping the menus seasonal also ensures all ingredients are enjoyed when they are at their best. If you have some specific dishes in mind that you would like to serve or ingredients you’d like our chefs to use, they will gladly work with you to create a bespoke menu.
Drinks
We understand that the cocktails and wine served at any dinner need to work in harmony with the food. We have an extensive wine list, with lots of delicious and genuinely affordable options and our chefs are readily available to help clients choose the perfect match. They also love getting creative and having fun with cocktail recipes for your welcome drinks.
HAC Armoury House Venue Hire
Summer parties need an impressive outdoor space and an equally fabulous indoor option. The HAC has both. Set within the HAC estate, our large venues enjoy an unrivalled position in the heart of the City of London, just a few minutes’ walk from Moorgate and Old Street tube stations.
The Spaces
Our sun terrace is a spectacular party venue. It boasts views over the lush green lawns of the Artillery Garden and has a unique City skyline backdrop. The space can host up to 690 drinks reception guests and is hired in conjunction with the Prince Consort Rooms, a contemporary event space separated from the terrace by a pretty courtyard.
Food and Drink
Organisers can chose from one of five barbecue menus: The Orchid, Cactus Grill, The British Summer Selection, The Hog Roast Package and Birds of Paradise. Take a look at all the dishes available here. Our fabulous in-house caterer, Searcys, is also happy to create bespoke menus if you have something specific in mind.
Games and Entertainment
There’s plenty of space in the courtyard to set up garden games like Jenga, giant Connect Four, table tennis and skittles. These always prove hugely popular with guests and work as fabulous ice breakers. For dancing later on, the Prince Consort Rooms is the perfect space. The room has an in-built lighting system which gives you complete control over the look and feel of your party, plus there’s a separate space which works brilliantly as a bar.
Details
Your booking will include hire of the terrace, courtyard and Prince Consort Rooms from 6-11pm. You’ll also get a fully-staffed cloakroom, four-hours of unlimited beer, wine and soft drinks and security. Prices start at £75pp and there are lots of extras you can add on, including DJs, cocktails and live acoustic music.
Corporate away days are a great opportunity to build staff morale, create and nourish the bonds amongst colleagues and perhaps most importantly, give your team a well-deserved day of fun. Set outside in our five-acre Artillery Garden, team building days at the HAC are spectacular affairs that all those in attendance will remember for years to come.
The Games
Every company has a unique dynamic and we understand that while an It’s a Knock Out-style competition might be perfect for one business, another might be better suited to more low-key activities like a croquet tournament. Our large green space means that clients have the space to create the perfect day for their colleagues.
Catering and Spaces
For your staff, a huge part of the appeal of an out-of-the-office excursion is the food and drink. The in-house catering team at the HAC has menus for all sorts of occasions including barbecues on the terrace, canapés and cocktails in the historic Long Room and a sit-down dinner in the Prince Consort Rooms. Whatever you and your team require, our kitchen can deliver delicious, freshly-prepared food your guests will love.
Location
The HAC is a short walk from both Moorgate and Old Street tube stations making it the perfect location for any City business and equally convenient for guests travelling from anywhere across London. The backdrop of the historic Armoury House gives visitors to the venue a chance to feel like they’ve been transported to the countryside, without the long journey.
Library & Boardroom The Library and Boardroom are housed in the Sergeant's Cottage which was built in 1850. They were completely refurbished to a very high standard as part of the Prince Consort Rooms development in 2007. These two lovely rooms work extremely well together for a meeting, lunch or dinner for up to 12 guests. Bespoke catering and private dining packages available upon request
