This historic venue offers six incredible event spaces, available for a wide variety of corporate and private events all year round. Gray’s Inn is a very versatile event venue that can adapt to host an array of event types – Corporate dinners, weddings, birthday parties, canapé receptions, seminars, receptions, Christmas parties and dinners, plus many more. The venue is fortunate to have an extraordinary private garden in the grounds that can be used to enhance your event during the warmer months.
Gray’s Inn gardens are known as ‘The Walks’ and are one of the largest private gardens in London, five acres of perfectly maintained park. During the summer an impressive marquee is in place, offering a great setting for summer parties, family fun days, barbeques and more. The gardens can also be used as a beautiful backdrop for wedding pictures, canapé and drinks reception, followed by the wedding breakfast and reception. Inside the venue, there are two licenced spaces for civil ceremonies, offering exclusive use to hold your ceremony and reception all within the comfort of one venue.Packages
A hidden gem located in the heart of Central London and less than five minutes’ walk from Chancery Lane station, The Walks at Gray’s Inn are formed of five acres of private gardens – the perfect Summer party venue.
This stunning and versatile space is ideal for a range of summer events and is available to hire exclusively for your event from 8th June-23rd July 2021, complete with a grand and elegant marquee. This brand new structure is purpose-built for The Walks, with built-in cloakroom, luxury toilets, bar, dancefloor, plus soft seating and furniture. There is also a PA system, ambient lighting including up-lighting and colour wash, a green room area, plus all important air-cooling.
We have created barbeque, canape, bowl food or seated meal summer party packages, however we are more than happy to offer bespoke parties to suit your exact requirements. We are also pleased to offer the space for daytime events, for example meetings or conferences for up to 300 guests. For evening events, we can host standing receptions up to 650 guests and seated dinner dances up to 350 guests.
Gray’s Inn lends itself perfectly to Christmas Celebrations. Three large tastefully decorated trees fill the Inn with the smell of Christmas, while the Historic oak panelled Hall filled with candlelight from the extensive collection of silver candlesticks provide a cosy glow on a cold winter’s night.
The Banqueting team pride themselves on impeccable planning, meticulous attention to detail and exquisite menus, which combined with many years of experience will ensure that your Christmas party is a magical experience that will keep guests talking into the New Year!
The Gray Inn Rooms
The Inn’s historic Hall is the heart of the Inn for its members and contains paintings, shields and stained glass windows dating back to the 15th century. It can offer a large yet intimate space for any wedding, ball, corporate dinner or drinks reception and is licensed for civil weddings.
The Rose Heilbron Room
An air conditioned and modern meeting room fully equipped with the latest video and teleconferencing facilities, a projector and screen. To accommodate a larger audience, a link can also be established between this room and the Bingham Room. Complementary Wi-Fi is included.
The Benchers’ Library
A small, quiet and atmospheric room ideal for meetings, private lunches and dinners.The Benchers’ Library is located on the first floor via the Benchers’ Entrance in South Square.
The Large Pension Room
A large and bright room with a number of ornate chandeliers and a marble fireplace. The Large Pension Room is licensed for civil weddings. The Large Pension Room is located on the first floor via the Benchers’ Entrance in South Square.
The Small Pension Room
This attractive oak panelled room contains a beautiful mahogany table and is ideally sized for small board meetings and private dinners. The Small Pension Room is located on the ground floor via the Benchers’ Entrance in South Square.
The Bingham Room
A versatile room equipped with a PA system, screen and projector to meet any audio visual requirements. It is suitable for boardroom meetings, seminars, drinks receptions and dinners. The Bingham Room is located on the first floor at 10 South Square.
The Bridge Bar
Open to members, tenants and residents of the Inn, the Bridge Bar can provide a light and comfortable location for informal breakfast meetings or lunch. It is ideally located to be used as drinks reception pre or post meeting in the Bingham Room.
