The Freemasons’ Hall is situated in the heart of Covent Garden and is home to the United Grand Lodge of England, the oldest Grand Lodge in the world. A favourite venue for London’s VIP events, the Hall was the chosen location for such events as the King Kong film premiere and London Fashion Week.
Not only is the Freemasons’ Hall a splendid building in a prime location, it also boasts a vast array of rooms that may each or together create a stunning setting for a whole host of events. The Grand Temple room lives up to its name and is a magnificently opulent area in which up to 1,700 seated guests can gather. Alongside the Grand Temple room, 21 other equally striking rooms are available to hire, from the stately Board and Committee Rooms to the impressive Library and Museum.

Situated in the ideal location of Covent Garden, the venue boasts two beautiful main event spaces, the Gallery Suite and the impressive Grand Temple, which can be hired separately and together. During the Christmas period, Smart Group transform the venue to host exclusive Christmas events that transport guests back in time to the roaring twenties.
The Grand Temple room lives up to its name and is a magnificent space with different capacities depending on whether the party are standing or seated. If the fixed theatre style is used, the room has capacity for up to 1,625 guests, or if the fixed seating is staged over, the room can fit 500-1,138. The vestibules can be used in conjunction with The Grand Temple for drinks receptions, or in isolation for dinners or parties. Two sweeping stone staircases lead guests to these spaces, and can be found at the Tower Entrance which features the authentic 1930s Tower Cloakroom. Also available to hire is The Gallery Suite, which can be utilised as a breakout room or on its own for up to 220 guests theatre style, standing or dining.
