Dalloway Terrace Summer Party London WC1
Named after the eponymous character created by Virginia Woolf, an author whose name will forever be associated with Bloomsbury, Dalloway Terrace & Bar is an elegant, poetic and quintessentially English space.
Set in the heart of the historic and vibrant 18th century Bloomsbury, London’s literary centre, the beautiful indoor-outdoor space is just a two-minute walk from Tottenham Court Road station and the hustle and bustle of Oxford Street and Soho. Fully heated in winter, this year round destination restaurant and bar offers the peace and charm of a secluded secret garden in the winter and a light, elegant and beautiful alfresco offering in the spring and summer months. With its fully retractable roof and lower terrace lined with buxus hedging to give privacy, Dalloway terrace and bar is London’s best kept secret.
Drawing subtle design inspiration from the 1930s, menus feature a floral motif based on the technique of preserving fresh flowers, while classic typefaces evoke a comforting sense of nostalgia that blends seamlessly with the stylish contemporary setting. Dalloway’s food and drink offering is reflected therein, with its all day seasonal menu taking inspiration from its beautiful surroundings.
Open from 7am daily, guests can join for a light breakfast, brunch and all day favourites. Alternatively, the small plate menu available from 12 noon daily is the perfect accompaniment to a crisp glass of wine or stiff drink for those looking to escape and impress in equal measure.
For the more quintessentially British experience, perfectly enjoyed in the surrounds of the terrace, Dalloway’s Afternoon Tea is not to be missed. Curated and prepared by Pastry Chef Mariatu Kargbo (formerly at The Dorchester and The Lanesborough hotels) it features a selection of sweet and savoury treats, inspired by both the Lutyens design and literary heritage that Bloomsbury has to offer.Packages
