Discover what life was like on board the legendary sailing ship Cutty Sark, the world’s sole surviving tea clipper, and fastest ship of her time – now an award-winning visitor attraction. This 19th-century sailing ship has been raised over three metres allowing you the jaw-dropping experience of walking directly underneath.
Greenwich’s Cutty Sark, the world’s sole surviving tea clipper, makes a spectacular and memorable setting for corporate and private evening events. Weather permitting, why not incorporate the opportunity to enjoy drinks on deck, taking in the spectacular views of Canary Wharf?
Cutty Sark is one of the world’s most famous ships and the last surviving tea clipper and the fastest and greatest of her time. She stands as a glorious monument to the age of sail and to all those who lost their lives in the merchant service. Situated on the shore of the mighty Thames River the ship provides commanding views over Canary Wharf and the City of London.
On summer evenings guests can enjoy canapés and cocktails outside on the weather deck, up amongst the masts, ropes and rigging of this beautifully restored Victorian tea clipper. You can almost smell the open sea. It’s atmospheric, evocative and really special backdrop to summer hospitality.
The Dry Berth is Cutty Sark’s largest and most versatile entertaining space. Running beneath the ship, it offers great opportunities to design your event beneath the gleaming copper hull. This is perfect for standing receptions and can also hold seated dinners for up to 270 or 200 with dinner dance!

Daytime Hire
The Cutty Sark is a visitor attraction open to the public between 10.00am-17.00pm but why not consider the option of exlusive hire for the day for your presentations, conference or fashion shows.
Enjoy sunset reception drinks on the Weather Deck with breath-taking views across London, or treat your guests to a private dinner for ten in the Mahoney-panelled Master’s Saloon.

Party beneath the gleaming copper-clad hull of a world-famous ship for Christmas 2021.
This iconic venue, located in a unique heritage setting, boasts spectacular riverside views and a sweeping outlook across the Thames to the city beyond. Walk up the quayside and see the iconic silhouette of the clipper lit up before you, before climbing aboard the Cutty Sark where you’ll be greeted with a glass of sparkling wine.
Delicious canapés will be served as you mingle until dinner is called. Take your places at tables underneath the spectacular hull for a delicious three-course dinner by Moving Venue. Maritime-themed entertainers will perform between courses, and after, head to the dance floor or try your hand at the on-board casino.
