Croxteth Hall is situated in a beautiful Country Park setting and is one of Liverpool’s most important heritage sites.

The Country Park is also home to a real working Home Farm, a Victorian Walled Garden and a 500 acre nature reserve – all open to the public.

Steeped in history, Croxteth Hall makes the ideal setting for weddings and conferences, concerts and exhibitions and offers a huge range of stimulating learning experiences for pupils of all ages.

Conferences

Croxteth Hall is Liverpool’s premier country house conference centre. Host your conference or event in the grandeur of our Edwardian stately home.

This historic venue, formerly the home of the Earl of Sefton, is situated in a unique country estate only 20 minutes from Liverpool city centre. Our venue is the perfect location for your meetings, presentations and corporate functions.

The peaceful setting and rural surroundings create a relaxed atmosphere, sure to make your event a successful and memorable occasion.

All rooms described here are approved to hold civil marriage and partnership ceremonies.

With several elegant Edwardian rooms ranging from the large oak panelled Old Dining Room and the well-appointed Library, to the much smaller, more intimate Sir Richard’s Room and Ante Room, you are sure to find just what you are looking for. We are extremely proud of our recently restored Queen Anne Suite.

With an extensive range of available spaces for hire ranging from Edwardian to Victorian to modern-day, at Croxteth Hall, we have a room available to suit your needs and make it a perfect occasion. Our tailor-made packages are available to suit your budget and preference and a number of our rooms are licensed for civil ceremonies.

In addition to our indoor room facilities, our Victorian Walled Garden is available for private hire and is perfect for summertime networking and private functions or why not enjoy the acres of green space we have on the grounds for team building, marquees, and outdoor pursuits.

THE QUEEN ANNE SUITE
The most imposing wing of the Hall houses the beautifully restored Queen Anne Suite, the ideal location for hosting a special occasion or a corporate event in a traditional, unique and magnificent setting. Located on the first floor of the Hall, these prestigious rooms benefit from the addition of the magnificent terrace of the Queen Anne Wing (dating from 1702) outside.

As you enter from the stunning terrace, the Entrance Hall, complete with stunning feature chandelier, welcomes you and your guests into the grand suite with a sumptuous panelled lounge area complete with a country club feel. The spacious bar is the perfect location to unwind and relax pre-celebration or discuss the day’s activities from a busy day deliberating before making your way into the most impressive room in the Hall, the Old Dining Room.

Lending an air of majesty to any event, the Old Dining Room features a beautifully decorated high plaster ceiling, carved oak-panelled walls, a grand fireplace, oak floor and stained glass windows which offer fine views across the lawns. A real room with a view for that memorable occasion.

The Queen Anne Suite offers a unique setting for up to 80 people banquet style and is licensed for wedding ceremonies.

THE LIBRARY SUITE
Located in the heart of the Hall, the Library Suite is refurbished in the style of the late Lord Sefton’s library and immediately immerses you in the atmosphere of a period country house the moment you enter. Lined with bookcases and old prints along the walls, the parquet floor, and specially-commissioned carpet complete a perfect picture for a private event of the highest calibre and quality.

Entry to the Library Suite is through the impressive grand Entrance Hall – light, open and airy, this impressive Entrance Hall lends an air of elegance, grandeur, and historic importance as you enter the building, breath-taking in its impressive display as we set the scene for your event, conference or meeting.

The Library Suite itself can comfortably accommodate 70 guests but additional break out areas that oose personality and uniqueness are perfect for setting your event apart to ensure your event, conference or meeting are as memorable and unique as you wish.

The traditional Tea Room and buffet/reception area off the Library Suite are ideal for break-out rooms or locations to host smaller meetings and events.
