Dinners

With a choice of over 8 suites and spaces suitalbe for dinners, the options are endless.  Larger dinners are best suited to the modern and well-appointed Pavilion Suite with smaller dinners being best suited to syndicate rooms in the Leverhulme Stand overlooking the racecourse or the Paddock Rooms with a view of the Parade Ring.

The venue’s award-winning caterers Horseradish will provide you with a smorgasbord of food options, from canapés and buffets to formal, five-course dinners. Our spaces are ideal for everything from discreet private dining to grand scale celebrations – the Paddock Rooms are flooded with light from the full-length windows, and overlook the parade ring and winner’s enclosure. They can be used individually or opened into one airy space to feed 80 diners or 120 buffet guests.

With 6 acres of green space, plus our flexible grandstands and suites, it’s ideal for roadshows, fundraisers and large scale outdoor events. From concerts, festivals and fairs to high octane driving days and car rallies, you won’t be short of space – it’s just up to you to decide what you want to do with it.

With a flexible range of meeting spaces, Chester Racecourse makes an inspiring venue for a meeting or away day. Our executive boxes overlook the race track, and are perfect for a board meeting, while our Paddock Rooms – light and bright with floor to ceiling windows and patio access – offer a fresh environment for an away day or business planning session. We’ve got a variety of meeting spaces to accommodate everything from a small to the largest group, just minutes away from the centre of historic Chester.

Conferences & Events

Large or small, formal or casual, a board meeting or large scale conference; the first class business facilities of Chester’s ancient racecourse are just a stone’s throw from the centre of historic Chester. We boast excellent transport links to the rest of Cheshire, the North West and London and the convenience of parking for 600 cars, alongside inspiring surroundings. Natural daylight floods in from the racecourse – while naturally we can provide full black-out screens, alongside AV facilities that include plasma TVs, PA and comms equipment.

Exhibition Space

We combine the convenience of a city location with the luxury of the countryside. Chester Racecourse is walking distance from the historic city centre, and connected to the Cheshire and the North West by the M53 and M56, and London by mainline rail. That connectivity is coupled with the flexibility of 35 separate facilities, on-site accommodation, a 20 acre green space and parking for 600 cars – rarely found in a city centre setting.

The Pavillion Suite is Cheshire’s largest exhibition venue. Created specifically for large scale events, it overlooks the parade ring and champagne bar, bringing a taste of racing glamour to any event. We also have our own pub and contemporary restaurant on site, giving your delegates plenty of entertainment options.

Large Event Spaces

From award ceremonies and conferences to team building days, trade exhibitions or upscale weddings, Chester Racecourse is home to Cheshire’s largest event spaces. Regularly playing host to, organising and catering for events of 500 plus, our stunning, contemporary Pavilion Suite overlooks the parade ring and has a capacity of 700 and our Festival Village offers 1380 square metres of unique, multi-purpose space which can cater for up to 2,000 people.
