As central London’s largest conference venue, this Grade II listed building enjoys a prime location opposite Westminster Abbey and adjacent to the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben. Built in 1912, Central Hall Westminster hosts a remarkable range of flexible event spaces with natural light and blackout facilities for corporate, public and private events.
Well known as a film location, this unique, historic venue with Europe’s largest domed ceiling* is an impressive landmark. The elegant theatre entrance, marble flooring, spacious foyer areas and Grand Staircase wonderfully compliment the 25-room portfolio. All spaces enjoy large windows, high ceilings, state-of-the-art technology and excellent accessibility.
From intimate meeting rooms for 5 delegates to facilities for 500, conference and exhibition space for up to 1,000 guests and 1,400 m2 to our auditorium with versatile floor space, holding 2,039 delegates or up to 2,400 standing concert – enjoy the diversity of Central Hall Westminster.

As central London’s largest events venue, Central Hall Westminster is a natural choice for hosting conferences and other prestigious corporate events.
The Great Hall, Lecture Hall, and Library are our three largest event spaces, and offer an ideal combination of beauty, technical capability, and grandeur that is perfect for conferences of all kinds.
All three rooms can be set up in multiple styles, with capacities ranging from 500 to 2,000 people depending on your chosen room and layout. We can also provide an extensive selection of catering options in each room, to ensure that your delegates and attendees are fully taken care of.
Versatile exhibition space
The Lecture Hall and Library is ideal for more formal exhibitions such as product launches and trade shows, and has a total capacity of 1,000 people.
It features grand triple-height ceilings, generously-sized windows, and an expansive floor area of 585m². This vast space leads immediately from the grand entrance foyer on Level 1 and is exceptionally adaptable, giving you the option to showcase your product in a variety of set-ups.
Central Hall Westminster is the largest conference and events venue in central London. We offer 23 varied rooms and spaces to accommodate events of all sizes: from intimate functions of up to 60 people to large occasions for up to 500 people. We can also cater for high-profile, high-impact events of over 2,000 people with ease.
Our Grade II* listed building was first inaugurated as a public meeting space for the Methodist Church in 1912, so hosting successful events is integral to who we are. While Central Hall Westminster continues to be owned by Methodist Central Hall, we now host over 800 diverse events every year. We are particularly well-known for hosting events of cultural significance, such as Stand Up To Cancer, The Late, Late Show and even the very first UN public address in 1946. In fact, there is a very good chance you have seen one of our public events live on television!
