Kew Summer Party
From enchanting gardens to iconic buildings, our venues are designed to create an unforgettable experience for you and your guests – all within easy reach of central London. Cambridge Cottage is an elegant former royal residence, set within its own private gardens, with two large function rooms that are available for both day and evening hire. A Grade II Heritage-Listed building and former royal residence that is ideal for private functions and weddings.
The main body of the venue consists of the Gallery and Drawing Room, which can be used independently or together, depending on your requirements. The Georgian Drawing Room is a beautiful, light room with paintings from Kew’s historic collections that is perfect for cocktails and canapés. The Drawing Room is also licensed for civil ceremonies of up to 80 guests. The adjoining Gallery houses botanical artwork on its walls and is able to host cabaret (round table) seated dining of up to 80 guests. Both rooms open on to the picturesque, secluded Duke’s Garden. For a more informal gathering, Cambridge Cottage can accommodate up to 170 guests for a cocktail reception or fork buffet. The Cambridge Cottage lobby, entrance hall and Ante room provide additional space and breakout areas to receive guests.
The Orangery
With high ceilings and grand, arched windows, the Orangery is filled with atmosphere from morning into the night. The large, open plan design of this venue makes it ideal for a whole range of events, from drinks and cocktail receptions to award ceremonies and festive corporate events. During the summer months, guests can enjoy the large terrace with its spectacular views of the landscape, with lights illuminating the surrounding trees at night.
Both the Princess of Wales Conservatory and Nash Conservatory can be used as pre-dinner drinks venues for guests who wish to book the Orangery for an evening event but also require a space at Kew Gardens before 7pm.

The Drawing Room and Gallery are spacious and light, available to be used independently or combined depending on your requirements. Both rooms open onto Duke’s Garden which is a tranquil and scenic space ideal for outdoor coffee breaks or drinks receptions.
The lobby, entrance hall and ante-room provide additional break-out space if required.
Corporate packages
Cambridge Cottage is available for dry hire or alternatively we offer day delegate rates. Packages include exclusive venue hire along with delicious food and drink from our selected caterers. We also offer various options for team building activities.

The Nash Conservatory
A bright and sophisticated glasshouse on the borders of the Gardens.
Originally built in the grounds of Buckingham Palace, the Nash Conservatory was moved brick-by-brick to Kew in 1836.
This 19th century glasshouse can accommodate a wide range of events, from presentations to product launches, corporate away days to drinks receptions, and much more. Floor-to-ceiling windows on three sides create a wealth of natural daylight with relaxing views onto the Gardens.
The Nash Conservatory may also be used for pre-dinner drinks before moving on to the Orangery for an evening dinner dance, or perhaps as a lunch venue when using the Sir Joseph Banks Building for a conference.
