Every summer, The Courtyard at 51 awakens from its winter slumber to welcome you and the sunshine to London’s most secret gem. Amidst the starry night sky and afternoons filled with sunlight, our state-of-the-art barbecue will be fired up all day long with Middle Eastern delights. The North African wine list and Shisha Pipes will transport you to the wonders of Morocco and the delights of the Arabian nights.
Above the Courtyard at 51 is our new Rémy Martin Cognac & Cigars Terrace. It opens from the end of June and serves Rémy Martin cognacs, including the Louis XIII grande champagne cognac, prestige champagnes, rare, aged Armagnac, calvados, and fine cigars. The Terrace is open from 6pm to 11pm throughout the week (excluding special event music nights).
The Summer Music Season sees the Courtyard at 51 turned into an al fresco musical experience. Dates and packages for this year’s Music Season are still to be confirmed.
The courtyard can also be hired for private functions including cocktail receptions and dinners. Please contact our Meetings and Events team to start planning your perfect event!

All food and beverage outlets, with exception of in-room dining, will be closed from 16th December until further notice. Quilon and Bombay Brasserie will remain open for takeaway and collection.

ST. JAMES’ COURTYARD
The courtyard is surrounded by a unique turn-of-the-century red brick frieze, depicting scenes from Shakespeare’s Sylvan plays, overlooking a cherub-adorned Victorian fountain.
St. James’ Courtyard is a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of central London, where you can marvel and the craftsmanship of the brick and stonework over a cool drink or a cappuccino and admire the artistry of the turrets, balconies, arches, columns, all overlaid with scrollwork and bas-reliefs.

Sip for less with our daily 2-for-1 drinks. Between 4-6pm, enjoy a selective range of house cocktails, spirits, smoothies and more in our spectacular Courtyard setting.
Our revamped drinks menu has been transformed this summer featuring super juices, old but gold classics, and an innovative collection of creative cocktails.
If you’re staying late, why don’t you make the most of your evening by sampling a selection of our brand-new seasonal plates ranging from refreshing summer salads to flavour-packed curries.
