Transport your guests back to the roaring twenties with this authentic Art Deco Ballroom located in the heart of Bloomsbury.
The exquisite Bloomsbury Ballroom offers a spectacular setting for any special event. The building’s stunning neo-classical façade dominates the east side of Bloomsbury Square, creating a backdrop that is certain to give your event that all important wow factor.
The ballroom has been fully refurbished to create a stunning event space in the heart of the capital. Breath-taking architecture and the opulence of this historical venue combine to awe-inspiring effect, creating the ideal space for special events from intimate drinks receptions to awards dinners, conferences and even fashion shows.
With its high ceilings, sprung flooring, built in stage area and state of the art lighting and sound systems, the Bloomsbury Ballroom comes fully equipped for all occasions. The adjoining Crush and Long bars fit seamlessly into the Art Deco surroundings of the Bloomsbury Ballroom, providing perfect breakout areas or reception spaces to entertain your guests before opening the double doors to reveal the Ballroom in all its glory.
The venue can accommodate up to 880 standing guests, 300 for a seated dinner and 500 theatre style.
Situated on the beautiful Bloomsbury Square, The Bloomsbury Ballroom is ideally located between the West End and The City. The venue offers immense versatility and is able to host a wide range of events from corporate parties, conferences and award ceremonies to fashion shows, product launches and weddings.
Built in 1926 as the South Ballroom for The Liverpool Victoria Friendly Society and renamed The Bloomsbury Ballroom in 2006, the venue has gone from strength to strength. In April 2015 The Bloomsbury Ballroom was bought by The London Cabaret Club, and as we enter our 90th year we become their home; perfectly blending events with The London Cabaret Club will ensure the continuing success of The Bloomsbury Ballroom.

With three separate events spaces The Bloomsbury Ballroom is the perfect venue for many different events.
The Ballroom is the main space available at this venue, with large windows allowing natural daylight to flood into the space, high ceilings and a marble entrance that won’t fail to impress. This is such a flexible and versatile space with state-of-the-art AV and lighting systems and the capacity for up to 570 for a standing reception, 500 for a theatre style event and 220 cabaret.
The Rose Room is the perfect spot for smaller parties, meetings and much more. Benefiting from a built-in bar and state-of-the-art AV and lighting system, this space is perfect for a drinks reception for up to 250, 80 theatre style or dining for 50 guests.
The Long Bar is another space with a built-in bar at The Bloomsbury Ballroom. It’s the perfect setting for a breakout area in conjunction with The Ballroom or can be used as a ‘back of house’ space for larger events. This room can accommodate up to 60 standing.

With 10,500 square ft of events space, we offer a complete serviced venue and with 3 beautifully restored areas. We can accommodate up to 700 standing, 280 for dinner or 500 for conferences. With full air conditioning, Wifi, parking, disabled access, sound and lighting system, event management service, exclusive 24 hour hire periods to meet all of your requirements.
