• MAIN HALL- Charles I commissioned Rubens to paint the magnificent ceiling in the Main Hall and this grand and versatile venue is perfect for banquets, conferences and dinners. However, it wasn’t so perfect for King Charles in the end – he was executed here in 1649.
• THE UNDERCROFT- The Undercroft was a favourite haunt of James I. His private drinking den is wonderfully atmospheric for drinks receptions or a candlelit dinner.
