Banqueting House Christmas Party SW1

The Banqueting House is the perfect place to entertain. Built in the 17th-century as an opulent setting for royal banquets, balls and masques it still creates a glittering backdrop for any occasion. The crowning glory of the main hall is the masterpiece of the famous Flemish artist, Sir Peter Paul Rubens. Special occasions such as charity events, dazzling social gatherings, musical and theatrical performances have all been held here. The auspicious surroundings also provide an excellent backdrop for corporate functions and blue-chip meetings. The architecture of Banqueting House is stunning and an ideal venue for all events including receptions and Christmas parties!

As guests enter the Main Hall, they will certainly not be disappointed – with the tables laid, shimmering chandeliers and the huge Rubens painting on the ceiling, this is truly one of the most stunning venues in which you can hold your Christmas event. Alongside the Main Hall, the River Room offers either a more intimate event setting or space for a dance floor where your guests can party the night away after dinner. Below stairs, the vaulted Undercroft is the venue’s third and most legendary space. The Undercroft was built as James I’s drinking den – what better place for a party?
