A Week in the Life of a Cow 23/09/2015
October 2, 2015

Despite the miserable rainy September weather, the venue mangers from Rooms on Regents Park  certainly put a smile on our faces! We were firstly greeted by the events team at the venue.

The venue is ideally located just short walk from Baker Street station, as well as home to The Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists!

The venue offers diverse and flexible meeting spaces at very competitive prices! Form large dining rooms, to classic meeting rooms, each with their own taste of profound history throughout the venue.

Not only were we greeted with Champagne, but during our tour, the venue incorporated a quiz with a twist for each room we viewed. With every correct answer we were presented with a new ingredient to create our own cocktails! Each room offered a variety of spirits, mixers, garnishes, more spirits and of course the final “cocktail shake” to complete our cocktail master pieces!

We were then encourage to indulge in the venues assortment of unique signature chocolate truffles, of which we were challenged to guess the flavour! From white chocolate pistachio, Apple and 5 spice, to Malibu pineapple and coconut flavours, the chocolate truffles left us wanting more and more!

We then moved on to the Royal Over-Seas League, the sister hotel to Rooms on Regents Park. Distinctly known as Mayfairs members club hotel, the Royal Over-Seas League faces directly opposite the beautiful views of London’s infamous Green Park.

With a tremendous variety of event spaces, including a perfect summer terrace area complete with Garden, the Royal Over-Seas League has more to offer than most!

Welcomed with an array of delicious canapés and wines we were joined by the hotel’s lovely event management team. Shortly after over indulging ourselves with canapés, we had a tour of what the venue had to offer.  Not only does the venue have some excellent private dining rooms, each room also had some impressive history to accompany it.

One of our favourite facts being that one the most intimate private dining spaces  homes the door to London’s first ever on suite bathroom! In addition to this, the stairs adjacent to the room  sits The Crinoline Staircase- this historic example of a staircase with a bowed balustrade was constructed to allow the ladies of the house to pass freely up and down the stairs in their hooped crinoline dresses!!

We were then sent off smiling, with Mince Pie gifts in our hands! (Never too early for Mince Pies, which were very delicious indeed!)

From private dining spaces, meeting rooms with grand high ceilings to spaces ideal for Christmas party’s  large and small.  The Royal Over-Seas League offers a large array of competitively prices spaces for all events!.
